Princes Quay hosts First Aid classes for your little ones

The Mini Medics course is specially made for 8-11year olds

Where: Unit F24

When: 30th October

Princes Quay shopping centre will be host to a specialist First Aid course aimed at young children to learn potential life-saving skills. The Mini Medics course will be running for one day only, with two sessions that last approximately 3 hours each.

Children will learn the basics and start by discussing what is first aid, moving on to topics such as the recovery position, defibrillation and first aid kits. The sessions will be taught in a fun and engaging way, with the chance to try out their skills on Annie the resuscitation doll. Each session will be taught by experienced first aiders and medically trained tutors.

“When approached by the Mini Medics team, we were really keen to start working with Jade and her team, bringing this fantastic opportunity to the centre. First Aid is a skill for life which is absolutely invaluable, you never know when these skills could come in handy and learning them from a young age, we are sure will be incredibly beneficial.”

The classes will be limited to 32 children per session and will cost £20 per head including free parking and an exclusive PQ privilege card that gives exclusive discounts across the centre. Children will also receive a workbook to take home along with a certificate of achievement. Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite:
