We’re delighted to welcome this great value brand store to Princes Quay
Yorkshire Trading Co opened their 22nd store at Princes Quay on Friday 7 Dec.
With everything from toys to crafts and pet supplies, Yorkshire Trading Co prides itself on great value and excellent customer service; shoppers will be spoilt for choice as the store opens just in time for Christmas.
With Hull roots, the company was established in the city in 1939 with a traditional corner shop, so it was only natural that the family owned business came back to the city. The company, which is run by the 3rd and 4th generations of the same family, has grown consistently since opening and now employs over 400 members of staff.
John Magee, Princes Quay’s Centre Manager, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming such a diverse retailer with a strong Yorkshire heritage. We’re sure the store is going to be a huge success and we’re excited to see what they have lined up for Hull shoppers.”
The store will be located in unit G20 on Level 2, next to Shuropody.
The retailer also boats its own clothing range, Rydale, which is designed and developed in-house by a dedicated team who have created a great range of country, equestrian, and outdoor clothing and accessories – the largest clothing operation on the UK show circuit.
Mr Magee added: “We are continuing to see the positive impact of the £20m investment into the centre and it’s great to have such a varied offering to customers. With the pedestrian link to Bonus Arena continuing to develop and our fantastic value Outlet Level, we are predicting a continued rise in footfall and overall growth.”
