PIZZA EXPRESS SPRING MENU WITH GRACE GRANT

Hello everyone! It’s Grace here, I’m so excited to talk to you about my lunch date at Pizza Express in Princes Quay. They invited us to check out their new Spring menu. *Spoiler* it’s amazing!
Pizza Express is always coming up with new delicious pizzas, starters and desserts and I always can’t wait to try them every season! We recently checked out their special festive menu (watch my vlog here) and LOVED it. So, I couldn’t wait to get back there when they asked me to try their Spring menu.
You can of course always get their classics that you know you love, but if you’re feeling a litte adventurous, then it’s definitely the perfect place to go if you want to try something new.

I went with my sister Ruby and my daughter Eliza. We sat by the window and enjoyed the amazing view, as always, of the water and the shops across the Quayside. Eliza was particularly excited by the ducks we saw. I always prefer going to Princes Quay for food, as you just don’t get views quite like it anywhere else in Hull!

We started off with cocktails and then we ordered our starters. I went with the classic dough balls which never let me down and Ruby ordered the NEW Crab Arancini which is crab and risotto balls. We all ended up stealing some of hers, it was soooooo good.

We then got the NEW Barbacoa pizza to share. I’ll give you the description which won me over: Pulled Barbacoa beef, spicy chipotle salsa, garlic oil, mozzarella, and tomato, finished with fresh tomato, red onion and fresh coriander on a Romana base. If you aren’t sold on that description then I don’t know what to say! The tomato gave it an amazing crunch and the beef was just beautiful! I didn’t think Pizza Express could top their Turkey and Stuffing pizza from their Christmas menu with it’s definitely come close with this one!

For dessert Ruby had the NEW warm lemon sponge cake which was pretty much eaten completely by my daughter Eliza, before Ruby could even touch it.

So it’s definitely approved by a 1-year-old if that counts for much? I tried the NEW Eton Mess which was so so good. It was like a classic Eton mess but the berry meringue really changed the game, I would definitely recommend that one!

We had an amazing time checking out their Spring menu and we will definitely be back for more! Have you tried anything from the new menu yet?
