VUE CINEMA ACCESSIBILITY

VUE CINEMA ACCESSIBILITY

Princes Quay is proud to be supporting Purple Tuesday – the UK’s accessible shopping day.

Did you know that Vue Cinema is dedicated to giving each and every one of their guests an exceptional big screen experience?

Autism Friendly Screenings

Vue Cinema host autism-friendly screenings on the last Sunday of every month. These screenings are sensory friendly with the sound reduced, lighting dimmed and no adverts or trailers. It’s ok for guests to move around and make noise during autism friendly cinema screenings.

CEA carer cards

Vue are proud to be part of the national CEA card scheme. The CEA card will allow you to book tickets online, in person or by calling the booking line to get your carer a ticket for free. For further information regarding the CEA card scheme, please visit the CEA website.

Subtitled listings

Vue also schedules subtitled cinema screenings for those who are hard of hearing. All subtitled cinema screenings will be marked as ST.

Audio Description

Vue also offer Audio Description (AD) on a select number of films each week. The film soundtrack is broadcast to speakers in the usual way, while a recorded narrator explains what’s happening on screen through personal headphones. Audio described screenings will be marked as AD.

Vue also welcomes assistance dogs into all of their venues. If you would like any more information, please give their dedicated customer service team a call on 0345 308 4620, or ask a member of staff during your visit to our cinema.
