3 REASONS TO VISIT PRINCES QUAY BY GRACE GRANT

Why you should visit Princes Quay every time you’re in Hull.
As a stay at home Mum who doesn’t drive yet, the only thing that keeps me sane is getting on a bus and heading into town. Whenever we’re in town, after getting Eliza (my 20 month only) some cheese straws, I always gravitate towards Princes Quay.
I wondered one day why I almost always do this… The other day I was heading to the bus station and somehow found myself at Princes Quay, I think it’s kind of becoming a problem but I’m not complaining! As I thought about it, I realised that there are quite a lot of reasons I always end up in PQ:
1. The Outlet Stores
I just can’t get enough. Every time I go into one of their outlet stores on level 3, there is always something new to discover. Sometimes I don’t even go in to buy anything, I just go to see what’s new in stock that day. Their Next Outlet is killing it at the moment. My house is jam-packed with £1 bargains. That’s right, Next Home for just £1!

2. Events
PQ’s events strangely mean a lot to me. As I don’t drive, being able to go out for the day shopping but also having something else to do is brilliant! The other day, I got my nails done at their Pamper Pod for free (WHAT?).
The Pamper Pod is fantastic, there are new activities and workshops every day, with the lovely staff from Village Hotels. The lady who did my nails was so fun, we had a great chat which was really nice because I talk baby most of the time!
Another event I loved was the free PQ Maze. It was such a fun idea to keep the kids entertained for a bit! I also recently had a Yoga session there, which is something I had never done before. I absolutely loved it and it definitely made me want to do Yoga more often! It was a free session too, so even if I didn’t like it, I got a taster session for free, no obligations!

3. Activities
Finally, another thing I love is their free Ping Pong Parlour on level 3. My husband and I probably always go in and have a game whenever we visit. I could do with playing against someone else though, as he wins EVERY TIME. Anyone up for it? There was also a sandpit for a while during the summer on level 3, my little one absolutely loved it! These kind of things are what makes shopping at PQ fun. There’s always something to discover!

Make sure you head into Princes Quay next time you’re in Hull. There’s almost always something new to discover. I can’t wait to see what they do next.
